BUILDING PLANS

Building plan is a set of drawings which consist of floor plan, site plan, sections,elevations, electrical, plumbing and landscape drawings for ease of construction of a site.

Anytime you think of building a house something that comes first in your mind is a building plan, e.g how how you you would like it to be; shape and so on. There are few basic steps of creating a building plan.
First things first you need to find  a professional and who has experience at least in the industry.

Secondly you need to have a picture in your mind of how you would like your house to look like e.g size and shape. size of the house mainly depends with the size of the land you intend to build the house and shape depends with size of the house.

After having a clear picture of how you would like your house to look like, now here is where the building professional comes in, he or she will advice you on the plan you chose.

Black cotton soil is mostly found in the central and western parts of kenya.  Black  cotton soil is favorable  for producing cotton plant. It is also referred to as expansive soil because it tends to expand when wet  and shrinks during dry period. its good to understand that not all black soil expand and not soil that expand is black Building a foundation on black cotton soil is too risky and caution should be taken before any work commences.
