FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A HOUSE PLAN

we will all agree that building a house has always been  a dream for everyone, a good house requires good planning. You should all know that the quality of your house plan is crucial to the success of your project either residential or commercial.

Making your dreams come true starts with a design on a paper. Here are some of the things to consider when choosing a house plan

  1. SAFETY - safety is an essential course in the design of any house, especially if one has a family. Make sure the house is accessible in all areas and make sure the family is well secured.                                                                                                                                                                                                        
  2. FAMILY - ignoring family members is the worst thing you can do especially those you will be living with. Make sure you consult them you may find additional things you may like to add on the house plan that you never thought of, and this may also avoid criticism and discussion in the future by the family members.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
  3. LIFESTYLE - imagine yourself in the house, does it meet your lifestyle, are you comfortable with it? would be able to have guest over as you like? your house must be nice . Think of how you will furnish your home and make sure to focus on the popular rooms in the house .                                                                                                                                                                            
  4. FURNITURE - while planning make sure you have enough space to place your furniture . its recommended to keep at least  90 to 100 cm of space around each furniture for easy movement within the room                                                                                                                                        
  5. BASIC STRUCTURE - while planning consider concentrating  first on the basic structure forget about the decorations either interior or exterior , important thing is setting up decorations comes later.                                                                                                                                       
  6. PRIVACY -   we will all agree privacy is important , The need for isolation is essential, if you work from home or love working-out, Give these rooms special attention to ensure tranquility when working on your favorite activities, for you and for the rest of your family members .                                                                                                                                                        
  7. BUDGET - when choosing a house avoid spending too much, you should concentrate more on your short term needs and on your current and actual budget. Black cotton soil is mostly found in the central and western parts of kenya.  Black  cotton soil is favorable  for producing cotton plant. It is also referred to as expansive soil because it tends to expand when wet  and shrinks during dry period. its good to understand that not all black soil expand and not soil that expand is black Building a foundation on black cotton soil is too risky and caution should be taken before any work commences.
